We are so proud to see an image created by our platform covering entirely the front page of the Correio do Povo, one of the main Brazilian newspapers.

Thanks to the excellent relationships that Adam has for years with Metsul, the main private Brazilian meteorological agency, on the occasion of the dramatic flood in the state of Rio Grande do Sul which caused 147 victims and 600 displaced people, we created an eloquent image.

The Copernicus Sentinel2 image from May 6th 2024 shows the effects of the devastating flood in the Porto Alegre area.

It is the first time that a satellite image has been used on a full cover page in a newspaper, and it is a privilege for us to be useful even just with the production of earth observation material in the management
of natural disasters in every part of the world.
