Full Stack developer

We are searching for a motivated backend developer to join and help our technical team shaping various applications using Earth Observation data. We work with a wide user community, and you will have the opportunity to work on motivating  projects.

Main tasks

• Design, implementation and maintenance of backend services for data processing
• Writing of technical documentation (software specification, manual, …)

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field with track record of backend services development
• Experienced in python (Django/flask), database (postgresql, mongoDB)
• Experienced in RESTFull web services development (openAPI, swagger)
• Working knowledge of version-control platforms (e.g. GitHub, GitLab)
• Working knowledge of containerization (docker, Kubernetes, helm)
• Good knowledge of English
• Communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications

• General knowledge of geospatial and remote sensing techniques
• Working knowledge of BASH scripting and geospatial packages (GDAL)
• Familiarity with standards (OpenSearch, STAC, WMS, WCS, …)
• Experienced working in cloud environment (OpenStack, OpenNebula, AWS)
